The trees outside of the Martha's Vineyard Hospital will be strung with lights and Ted Morgan, former Edgartown Selectman, MV Hospital Administrator and WWII veteran will perform the tree-lighting ceremony. 4pm Contributors may place one light on a tree for $25 or five lights for $100.

4. The is holding its Holiday Open House this afternoon. Come one, come all for the food, fun, festivities and family crafts. 4:30 pm. Free

The West Tisbury selectmen are NOT meeting today. They are meeting tomorrow at 10:00 at Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan and Hackney (counsel) in Edgartown for the closing on the Field Gallery purchase. Richard Knabel
