Poetry & Writing JAM: Readings by Holly Nadler, Gwyn McAllister, Christine Radant, C.K. Wolfson and others

The Poetry at Pathways Series continues with an open Poetry and Writing JAM, for an evening of multi-discipline collaborative reading, visual arts and response to new work.

All poets, writers and community invited to read, to listen, or to relax and enjoy the readings.  

Reading new work: 

Holly Nadler reads a chapter from her serial novel, Lady Slipper Farm And The Summer People, with a digital projection of the cover page artwork - designed by C.K. Wolfson;

Gwyn McAllister reads an excerpt from a new graphic novel in progress, with artwork by Christine Radant;

Christine Radant reads a short story, ‘Cabin Fever,’ against a backdrop of her photography projected on to the Pathways digital screens;

C.K. Wolfson reads an introductory chapter from her new book, "Painting A Life, Ray Ellis seen through his Art" - to be published this Spring 2014. It provides a glimpse of the mind and personality of Ray Ellis, and that which makes him so distinctive. With digital images by the late artist. 

Linda Wilson, Michael Mount and Joyce Wagner read excerpts from new writings.

Pathways Bookshelf, open in preview, with expanding multi-arts books and writings publications, offering magazines on island arts and beyond, poetry books, DVD’s and audio CDs by island writers and musicians. This selected gathering of innovative arts materials are available to explore onsite or to purchase.

Pathways Projects is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and catalyzing creative projects in the arts, writings and collaborative forms, with the community of Martha's Vineyard. In addition to Poetry at Pathways, the ongoing 2014 Winter-Spring season offers event clusters in music, digital media, poetry, visual arts installations and collaborative forms across media.
