Photography Opening

Opening, by Photographer and Painter, ELAINE COHEN, on Friday, April 18, 5 - 7 pm. at the Photography Gallery at the Workout & Tennis Center, Airport Rd., West Tisbury. 

Her show "Recent Travels" will include striking images from Mexico, Portugal, Hawaii, Sante Fe, NM, and the American South. Her non - manipulated photographs transform the ordinary into a dazzling array of impressions which will remain with the viewer for some time to come.

Cohen, a frequent participant in the fall exhibition series at the Pequot Hotel in Oak Bluff, has also shown her work in California and on Cape Cod; she is best known for her vivid multi-media collages that include photography, painting and ephemera. Her recent "Chinatown" collage series at the Gateway Center in Santa Monica also featured musical compositions scored to accompany her poetry. 

The show will run through May 15. The Gallery is open daily between 10 am - 7 pm, including Sundays, and welcomes visitors. To preview the exhibition online, visit ElaineCohenGallery.com
