Lecture: Alan Lovewell presents "Sustainable Community Fishing"

Inspired by the Vineyard oceans he grew up around, Alan Lovewell will share his experiences and discuss the importance of local fisheries in sustainability. Lovewell studied Marine Policy at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and is currently a Sea Grant Fellow with NOAA's Northwest Fishery Science Center. He is a co-founder of Local Catch Monterey Bay, a community supported fishery that connects people with local fishermen for sustainable seafood.
