Herbs for the Respiratory System
This is an intensive, packed 3-hour class dedicated to learning the world's best herbs for healing the respiratory system. Herbal medicine has long had a strong tradition of caring for the respiratory system—both the upper respiratory tract (the sinuses and throat) and the lower respiratory tract (the lungs). Because some herbs have very distinct and noticeable effects (such as drying up mucous secretions, causing bronchial muscle contractions, easing contractions, and soothing wet or dry coughs), their use has long been documented historically and there is much information and experience throughout many cultures for treating respiratory ailments with plants.
In this class we'll cover a variety of botanicals for many different respiratory conditions: sinusitis, upper and lower respiratory infection, acute and chronic cough, allergy, spasm, pleurisy, sore throat, lung cancer, pneumonia, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, bronchitis, and more--all with the focus of using herbs to reduce or relieve symptoms and to strengthen the immune system.
