Spotlight Gallery Reception: Playing Together - High School Sports Since Regionalization

Students in Corinne Kurtz's "Sport in America" history class at the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School are the latest guest curators to debut their work in the Spotlight Gallery at the Museum. The students have spent the first half of the school year studying the sports program at MVRHS from when it first became a regional school over fifty years ago up until now. They will now mount an exhibition showcasing their work. "Playing Together: High School Sports Since Regionalization" examines the evolution of high school sports on the Island and will be on exhibit in the Spotlight Gallery from January 25th to February 12th. Join us for an opening reception at the Museum, and help unveil the students' work.
