Saving Special Places Winter Walking Series
The Trustees saves the irreplaceable, for everyone, forever.  In a race for space, we will provide access to rarely seen conservation restricted private properties during our special winter walking events. The generous landowners open their properties to Trustees’ members and guests once a year for our guided hiking series.  This is an amazing opportunity to explore these special places and learn more about preserving what is special on Martha’s Vineyard.  Guided walks meander through rare habitats, unique forests, rocky shorelines, and historic brickyards. Brickyard Industry Walk
A once a year chance to explore the old cottage, walk the brickwork ruins, and hear the stories of a once prosperous industry – the brickyard walk is a favorite and not to be missed! Light to moderate hiking conditions, but please also note that many of the walking paths are deer runs and a brook crossing is required.  Members: FREE. Nonmembers: adult $10, child $3.
