Book Launch Party! MARTHA’S VINEYARD AUTHOR, LARA O’BRIEN LAUNCHES DEBUT NOVEL at Christmas in Edgartown with a magical Irish celebration
Local author Lara O'Brien upcoming publication of Chesca and the Spirit of Grace celebrates
her debut fiction novel targeted to the 8-to-12-year-old youth market. The
book is available as of December 1st at online book
retailers in printed and e-book format.
Lara will host a
launch event at the Noepe Center for Literary Arts (Point Way Inn 104 Main
Street in Edgartown, MA) from noon to 2PM on December 14, 2013 during the
Christmas in Edgartown celebration.
There will be hot chocolate and treats for the family. Irish music will
be provided by a local Charter School student Violet Southwick. The book will be sold at the event,
with a personal signing by Lara at 1PM .
The author, Lara O'Brien, was born in Dublin, Ireland and grew up in the wild and wondrous hill of Howth, as in, Howth is Magic, a beautiful seaside town on the northeast coast of Ireland, the very setting of her book. She now lives on the sister Island of Martha's Vineyard with her husband and children.
Chesca and the Spirit of Grace will be available on December 1st in a durable softcover at Bunch of Grapes Books on Martha’s Vineyard and online retailers including lulu, and Amazon (world-wide).
The e-book version will also be available for Amazon KindleTM, Barnes and Noble NookTM, Apple iPadTM, and other ebook readers including create space and on itunes on iBookstore .
