Wind Advisory in Effect for Martha's Vineyard

High winds are in the forecast for Dukes County today.

Martha's Vineyard is under a wind advisory, according to the National Weather Service. Today will be partly sunny, with a high near 37. No snow is forecasted

The wind advisory is in effect through 4am Monday. Winds 29 to 33 MPH are expected with gusts up to 50 MPH; the strongest winds will hit the Island between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. today.
