HEALTH & WELLNESS

Today at the , -A workshop focused on rebuilding strength, flexibility and vitality for women living with cancer. Exciting new research reveals that regular exercise can reduce the chance of cancer recurrence and extend your life. Exercise can also help you recover energy, strength, and flexibility diminished by lifesaving cancer treatments. This 2-hour workshop will show you how exercise can help you feel strong again and improve your flexibility and balance, rebuild your muscles, protect your bones, and enhance your appearance, vitality, and all-around health! The Third Annual Blessing of the Bikes will be today at the , in Edgartown. The blessing will be officiated by The Rev. Dr. Jerry Fritz, Pastor and avid Cyclists. All cyclists of all ages and any Faith, Belief or Ideas  are welcome. 10 am.

 

KIDS & FAMILY

is a free event for kids at the today. Learn and practice safe bike riding. Free food and the chance to WIN A NEW BIKE just for participating! Don't forget your helmet! Presented by the MV Boys & Girl Club, the Edgartown Police, Edgartown Fire Department, Wheel Happy Bicycles, and Mass In Motion. 10 am.

The Island Children's School in West Tisbury is having their Mayfest Yard Sale and Silent Auction today. There will be pony rides, face painting, bouncy house, games, arts and crafts, and food for sale. $5 per child, parents are free. 10 am - 2 pm. For information, call 508-693-5815.

In celebration of Food Revolution Day, there is a Garden Party at the today. Help plant, garden, do art projects, taste school-grown greens and learn about healthy salad dressings. Walk around to the back of the school and enter the courtyard. 10 am - Noon
