Martha’s Vineyard Fashion Week (MVFW) was explosive this year – bringing style and fashion to the Island in a way that’s fast becoming the signature of Trena Morrison and all the other brilliant folks who put together this week of trunk shows, movie screenings, and fashion shows.

We at MV Patch were lucky enough to be able to share with you the behind the scenes, and on the runway, shots taken by one of the Island’s most sought after photographers, Eli Dagostino.

“You don't know chaos until you've been back-stage at a fashion show,” Dagostino wrote on his Facebook page after shooting the final event of MVFW on Saturday night at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs.

Dagostino invites you to, “Observe how the space quickly gets more and more cramped, messy, and eclectic. Models changing out in the open, hair stylists filling rooms with hair spray, and designers scrambling to cut threads, sew rips, and buckle belts before their talent struts out onto the brightly lit runway.”
