Next Snowstorm Likely to Miss Martha's Vineyard

A new weather system could bring another 6-8 inches of snow in some parts of the state Thursday, but will likely miss the Vineyard.

Another weather system is expected to impact the Commonwealth Thursday.

There is a possibility Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and the Cape might see snow showers early morning Thursday but no significant accumulation is expected.

Officials do not anticipate Coastal areas to be adversely affected during the high tide cycle.

MEMA suggests taking precautions with unstable structures covered by snow, as precipitation can drastically increase the weight of snow.
