2. Tonight is the Annual Minnesinger Auction at . Some great items will be auctioned including a night at an inn in Northern Mass, a catered dinner for four, heating oil from Packer and two tickets to the New Years Day Pats vs. Bills game. Bills. There will also be food and of course, some really amazing singers. 6:30 pm. $25

3. DJ Ricky Prime will be on the wheels of steel at Seasons in Oak Bluffs. Doors open at 10 pm.

4. It’s Drop-in Fiber Friday with fiber artist Pam Flam. Doors open from 10 am – 5 pm. Free.

5.  The hosts the hilarious political commentator Jimmy Tingle tonight. A rare theatrical event, combining a screening of his first documentary “Jimmy Tingle’s American Dream”, followed by a Q&A with Jimmy and a live performance featuring highlights from Jimmy’s newest one man show “Jimmy Tingle for President: The Funniest Campaign in History.” The film contains interviews and the opinions of Howard Zinn, Robert Altman, Ed Schultz, Mort Sahl, Janeane Garafalo, Sean Hannity, Lewis Black, Margery Eagan, Jim Braude, Bobcat Goldthwaite, Al Franken, Robert Reich, Colin Quinn, Barry Crimmins, Jimmy’s mother Frances and more.
