Five Things You Need to Know Today: October 2

Today there are new classes for kids and teens at Featherstone, ACE MV is holding walk-in registration at MVRHS and Arts Martha's Vineyard holds their first brown-bag lunch series at the Harbor View

1. Today at the Edgartown School there will be a presentation of Assertions: Students Speak about Bullying with IMP for Kids featuring students from all over the Island. Also on Oct. 4. 9 am. For more information, visit imp4kids.com.

2. Arts Martha’s Vineyard presents the first of its brown bag lunch series today with a discussion of the development of a Artisans Trail Mobile App this morning at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. Free. 11:30 am - 1 pm. For more information or to preregister, call 508-776-6810.

3. Art for Kindergarteners with Lani Carney has started again at Featherstone for kids ages four to five. $30. 3 pm – 5 pm. For more information, call 508-693-1850 or visit featherstoneart.org.
