4. Tonight at the Alexandra Gagnon Teen Center at the there is a . Chief Swagg, a Rapper with a positive message, Native American (Wampanoag of Aquinnah) whose talent for positive lyrical messages encourages a drug - free, positive lifestyle. He will make his first Vineyard appearance since returning from Oklahoma at a concert at THE BASE (Teen Center performing arts club). DJ Jai will spin tunes for the rapper and a dance to follow. Proceeds will benefit the Young Brothers To Men group who will journey to Philadelphia, PA to meet with our brother group Neighborhoods First who make an annual pilgrimage from the city to the Vineyard. $5. 7 pm.

5. The Martha’s Vineyard Film Society presents: tonight at the in Vineyard Haven. “Jiro Dreams Of Sushi” is the story of 85 year-old Jiro Ono, considered by many to be the world's greatest sushi chef. This feature film debut of director David Gelb, “Jiro Dreams Of Sushi” is a thoughtful and elegant meditation on work, family, and the art of perfection, chronicling Jiro's life as both an unparalleled success in the culinary world, and a loving yet complicated father. $8 non-members, $5 members. 7:30 pm.
