1. The Polly Hill Arboretum will present The Best of Small Flowering Trees from 10 to 11 a.m. Join executive director Tim Boland for a review of flowering trees that fit your landscape needs. The event is free for Polly Hill members, $5 for non-members.

Jeff Pratt, Massachusetts EMT-Paramedic, AHA basic and advanced life support instructor, will be teaching an American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Class today and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mansion House. 3. It’s at both locations of Sharky’s Cantina. A portion of all food proceeds throughout the date will benefit Featherstone Center for the Arts.

4. A funeral service for Arthur Railton, author and Vineyard historian, will be held at the Old Whaling Church at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the same location.
