Pony rides, hockey registration and more today on Martha's Vineyard

1. Hockey Registration and a Learn-To-Skate session will be held this morning at the MV Ice Arena in Oak Bluffs from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Learn-To-Skate will be on Saturdays through April 6; 9:30-10:20 am. Call (508) 685-7308 for more information. 

2. Arrow Head Farm will be offering pony rides all day today, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm in West Tisbury. Bundle up – it's going to be a chilly day. Call for reservation (508) 693-8831 or (508) 627-2841.

3. The Insight Meditation Community will meet today and every Saturday from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Memorial Chapel on Main street in Vineyard Haven. For more details call Jo Rice at (508) 693-2827.

4. The Chilmark Library will host an Artist's Opening of Joseph A. Palermo's work from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The showing will run through January 31, during library hours.

5. Take part in a Kwanzaa Celebration this evening at the First Baptist Church Parish House in Vineyard Haven; co-sponsored by MV NAACP. Bring a dish to share or $5 per person. Enjoy music, games, other Kwanzaa festivities. Call (508) 627-8850 or 693-2797 for more information; 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
