Edgartown Makes Best Yachting Towns List
Edgartown listed as one of the 50 best yachting towns in North America
Yachting Magazine included Edgartown on their 50 best yachting towns in North America 2012 list this year along with other yachting towns like Crisfield, Maryland, Bayfield, Wisconsin and overall winner Beufort, North Carolina.
“Make port in Martha's Vineyard's pre-revolutionary whaling town of Edgartown and you will realize that the community hasn’t lost touch with its heritage,” said the website. Yachting Magazine recommends seeing Edgartown on foot and sites the Vincent House and the Old Whaling Church as landmarks to visit.
