3-D Comes to Martha’s Vineyard
Edgartown Cinemas to be outfitted with 3D capability by this weekend
You thought it would never happen, but it is, 3-D is coming to Martha’s Vineyard. And not the Creature from the Black Lagoon kind of 3-D, but the real deal, with all the bells and whistles like digital imaging and surround sound.
According to the Martha’s Vineyard Times, Entertainment Cinema in Edgartown should have the new system in place in time to screen The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part II this weekend. Ticket prices will remain at $9 for adults and $7 for seniors and children. “There will, however, be a surcharge for 3D films, because of that specialized technology's licensing cost,” reported the Times.
