Who's Hiring on Martha's Vineyard: Tisbury Seeks Public Works Director, Edgartown Pizza Needs Cook

Help-wanted signs are up in Vineyard businesses' windows and managers are also turning to the internet to recruit fall and year-round employees. If you're looking for work, start here.

Martha's Vineyard is still busy, and managers are looking for workers: You can see help-wanted signs in store windows and at checkout counters almost anywhere you go.

The internet is another place to find jobs on the Vineyard: The town of Tisbury has posted an opening for a public works director.

Stores and restaurant managers are also using Facebook and Patch to spread the word about their job openings.

Edgartown Pizza posted on MV Patch: "Year round cook needed at Edgartown Pizza. Must be flexible and speak English. Please call 508 627 7770 for more information."

Skinny's Fat Sandwiches, located in Edgartown and Oak Bluffs, posted: "We are looking for fall counter help ASAP. Please call 508 693 5281 or come by either store. Possibly year round for the right candidate."

Jack Wills, Edgartown, posted: "Saying goodbye to our seasonnaire Kalyn was very sad, but now we want YOU to be a part of our team. We are currently hiring staff for Fall & Christmas. To apply send in your résumé to edgartown@jackwills.com."
