Tisberry Reopens with Soups, Salads, Coffee

Closed since Thanksgiving break ended, the Vineyard's only frozen yogurt shop has opened again with an expanded menu and winter-long plans.

Passersby on Main Street and Cromwell Lane Wednesday afternoon heard something very different from Christmas carols wafting through the chilly air.

Reggae music was playing from the outside speakers at Tisberry Frozen Yogurt & Smoothies, which has just reopened with a winter menu of soups, salads and coffee to complement its signature cold treats.

This week's soup offerings, served with baguette, include roasted butternut squash; ginger, carrot and artichoke; and a chicken sausage jambalaya.

Owner Eric Johnson said the shop is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m through Saturday, Dec. 21.

He'll then close for four days and reopen after Christmas, Johnson said.

Find out more about Tisberry when we talk with Eric Johnson for our Business Monday special, coming Dec. 23.
