State Road Restaurant Announces New Schedule

The acclaimed West Tisbury eatery patronized by President Barack Obama and the First Lady has trimmed its schedule for the off-season.

While many of the Island's top eateries have closed for the winter, including Détente in Edgartown and Sweet Life Café in Oak Bluffs, West Tisbury's State Road Restaurant is continuing to serve meals five days a week.

Popular with both locals and visitors — President Barack Obama and First Lady Barack Obama had dinner there during their August vacation — State Road is now open at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays for burger night and on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner, and serves brunch Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It's located at 688 State Road: 508-693-8582.
