Menemsha Still Bustling in Shoulder Season

The Bite is closed, but most other Menemsha eateries and shops are still welcoming customers this late September. Have you been there lately?

Have you driven to Menemsha lately? The summer crowds have abated and parking is easier, while most restaurants and shops remain open for business. 

Here's what Patch found open and closed on Tuesday, Sept. 24:

Along with shopping and dining, Menemsha also offers the chance to watch heavy equipment at work rebuilding the Coast Guard pier, fishermen coming and going at Dutcher Dock and spectacular sunsets, now taking place just after 6:30 p.m. and getting earlier every day.
