Linda Jean's Reopens
The Oak Bluffs restaurant, a longtime family favorite, is set to reopen March 7, 2013. Chilmark Chocolates up-Island is also expected to reopen Thursday.

Your wait is almost over: After a month-long winter break, Linda Jean's Restaurant in Oak Bluffs is preparing to reopen Thursday.
Their usual hours begin at 6 a.m. at the longtime Circuit Avenue favorite, but you could call to make sure: (508) 693-4093.

Established in 1976, Linda Jean's has developed a devoted following as a family-friendly eatery serving down-home meals.
There's even a Facebook group of Linda Jean's fans, numbering more than 160.

Also scheduled to reopen Thursday on the Vineyard: Chilmark Chocolates, which took a winter break after Valentine's Day weekend.
