'The Vineyard' TV Show: 'Wow This is Bad'

"If you really fell asleep on the beach in Aquinnah you'd wake up in the morning with a skunk next to you," and other Facebook comments by viewers — pro and con — after the third episode of "reality" TV show "The Vineyard" on ABC Family.

The show's foes and fans have been weighing in on Facebook about the latest episode. Many took a critical view:

"This is the worst acting and directing I seen in a long time wow this is bad"

"Shouldnt this be renamed The Black Dog commercial? Couldn't get more BD t-shirts or shots of the store jammed in if they tried..."

"Is this for real acting? Or what? It's got to be staged the acting is THAT bad"

"This show....I hated the first episode. Now, while horribly acted (is that supposed to be acting?) - I am now slightly addicted and will watch it as long as its on. Mostly because its from Mass, and partly because its like a car wreck. You have to watch."

"This show is not good, seriously."

"This cast needs acting lessons, the scenes between so many of these castmembers is so phony. Very seriously, this is terrible acting going on here and could use some more substantial storylines. I watched the first episode and don't know if I could stand any more!"

"this show is so laguna beach all over again like jackie is lc and katie is kristen ..... and luis is steven hahahahaha - this show is horrible the acting is horrible just like laguna beach was!!"

"Horrible show with a horrible script lol. /mind numbing"

Other viewers were more charitable:

"Thanks The Vineyard for shooting at Flatbread- they are a much appreciated island restaurant that supports Island causes with a weekly benefit night!"

"Jon's abs are really the best thing about this show."

Some had questions:

"This is meant to be a comedy, right?"

"why is that girl so orange!!!"

"so after weeks of thorough investigation I have discovered that there is no record of the character "ben" ever having served in the coast guard... can someone clear this up for me?"

And still others appear to be out-and-out fans:

"Jaclyn is amazing. Katie has that something about her as well.... And Luke. Need I say more"

"I am addicted I can't help it. I love it."

"So addicted to the new show The Vineyard ! It is part Laguna Beach/part The Kennedy's!! (two heart emoticons) it!!"

"I swear The Vineyard gets better and better each week!!! <33 Dying for next weeks episode and I mean so many questions and thoughts with this episode (:"
