Owned and run by 11 Island artists, together with 210 years of handcrafted Vineyard arts experience, the is clearly a one-of-a-kind destination.

Doors have opened for their 2nd year and the Night Heron Gallery at 58 Main Street, Vineyard Haven brims with unique pieces by a variety of artists.

You’ll find ceramics by Washington Ledesma, porcelain by Lisa Strachan, and majolica and imaginative printmaking by Nicholas Thayer.

There are also peaceful watercolors by Ann Howes, and oil paintings of Carolyn Warren.  Other offerings include fine jewelry by Diana Stewart and Kathleen Tackabury; Beldan K. Radcliffe's chine collé etchings, tiles, and upcycled sweaters, and Ingrid Goff-Maidoff's inspirational book arts and gifts.

This year Sylvie Bags, created with vintage fabric and adorned with bead work, and LA Brown’s thoughtful photography are colorful additions to the artist owned and operated gallery.

Visitors to this venue will always meet one of the artists, as they collectively run and manage the business themselves.

Wonderful! Come see us at this very cool and stunning Gallery... truly quite unique. Even an lady from Nantucket said there is nothing like it there and we should expand to the other island..
