Night Heron Gallery Opens for Second Year

The cooperative gallery in Vineyard Haven features a diverse collection of art made by eleven Island artists

Owned and run by 11 Island artists, together with 210 years of handcrafted Vineyard arts experience, the is clearly a one-of-a-kind destination.

Doors have opened for their 2nd year and the Night Heron Gallery at 58 Main Street, Vineyard Haven brims with unique pieces by a variety of artists.

You’ll find ceramics by Washington Ledesma, porcelain by Lisa Strachan, and majolica and imaginative printmaking by Nicholas Thayer.

There are also peaceful watercolors by Ann Howes, and oil paintings of Carolyn Warren.  Other offerings include fine jewelry by Diana Stewart and Kathleen Tackabury; Beldan K. Radcliffe's chine collé etchings, tiles, and upcycled sweaters, and Ingrid Goff-Maidoff's inspirational book arts and gifts. 

This year Sylvie Bags, created with vintage fabric and adorned with bead work, and LA Brown’s thoughtful photography are colorful additions to the artist owned and operated gallery.
