Five Things to Know: March 21, 2013

The first full day of spring brings us installations in Chilmark, bar art in Edgartown, teen night at the Vineyard Haven library and the chance to help an African movie find American audiences at the MV Film Center.

  1. Connecting Creations: A Multi Arts Installation on Pathways Gallery of Moveable Walls & Screens begins at noon at Pathways at The Chilmark Tavern, 9 State Rd, Chilmark, free.
  2. Chief Curator Bonnie Stacy presents "Bar Art: Not Just Dogs Playing Poker" at 5:30 pm, Martha's Vineyard Museum, 59 School St, Edgartown, $8.
  3. Teen Night for grades 6-12 starts at 6 p.m. at the Vineyard Haven Public Library, 200 Main St, Vineyard Haven, free.
  4. Help determine the future of a film from Kenya: Nairobi Half Life Feature Film Project, 7:30 pm, Martha's Vineyard Film Center, 79 Beach Rd, Vineyard Haven, $10.
