F-Bombs Explode on New LP from Martha's Vineyard Ferries

Be advised: Clicking this sound file will play an unbleeped song with a title we can't post on Patch, by a band with a Vineyard connection that goes deeper than its name. The new album is called "Mass. Grave" and comes out in October.

Island native Elisha Wiesner and his comrades in the "summer fun punk band" Martha's Vineyard Ferries got a boost this week from the ubercool music tastemaker Mojo, which picked as its Sept. 16 track of the day a catchy new song by the band.

Read "The Martha’s Vineyard Ferries – She’s A F**king Angel (From F**king Heaven): Shellac and Codeine luminaries’ expletive-laden celestial hook-up."

The track comes from the band's upcoming LP, wryly titled "Mass. Grave." It's due out Oct. 15 on Kiam Records, which is taking pre-orders now ($12.99). The first 100 copies are being pressed on blue vinyl, according to a post on the band's Facebook page.
