Dorothy West's Paradise, Author Talk

Dorothy West is best known as one of the youngest writers involved in the Harlem Renaissance, but West was also intimately rooted in a very different milieu—Oak Bluffs. She played an integral role in the development of the African American retreat spot and also worked as a columnist for the .

Author Cherene Sherrard-Johnson will discuss West's long life and career, and explore Oak Bluffs’ history as an elite African American enclave.
