The Island Community Chorus will kick off its 15th anniversary year with two concert stagings of "The Music Man" at the Performing Arts Center. Performances will take place Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 10, at 3 p.m.

IMP Camp
IMP will present a one-day camp at in Edgartown on Saturday, April 9 from noon to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is encouraged. To do so, call 508-939-9368.

“Return of the Osprey”
The will be conducting guided walks to mark the return of the osprey to the Island. This free program will take you out to the osprey's habitat and explore how they survive in nature.

“My Perestroika”
The Martha's Vineyard Film Society will screen "" on Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the Katharine Cornell Theatre. The documentary by Robin Hessman follows five Moscow schoolmates as they look ahead to the future after the break-up of the USSR in 1991. The movie won the Filmmaker Award at the 2010 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival and the Special Jury Award at the 2010 Silverdocs Film Festival.

Nature Walk at the Tashmoo Preserve
The Tisbury Tashmoo Task Force will be leading a free guided nature walk of the Tisbury Tashmoo Preserve on Sunday, April 10, from 1 to 2 p.m. Explore six wonderful ecosystems and see how the herring run comes to life in the spring!
