kicked off Thursday morning on the grounds of the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society in West Tisbury. The fair, featuring musical performances, circus acts, rides, livestock and exhibit judging, and a host of contests—including a woodsmen's competition, tractor pull and a women's skillet throw—continues through Sunday, August 21.
