Re your photo of the scalloper "Tidely Idly": we have at least one well-read scalloper on the Vineyard. His or her boat's name comes from a delightful children's book by Robert McCloskey named "Bert Dow: Deep-Water Man." I read it to and with my own kids. So nice to see a latter day "Tidely" afloat and well.

Bingo, Dad! I remember you reading that book to us. It's a great one and I still love the name "Tideley Idley." I asked on Facebook and Twitter if anyone recognized it and you were the only one. Thank you for commenting!
