Another snowstorm is headed this way, bringing high winds and frigid temperatures with it. Cape Cod and the Islands are expected to get hardest hit by the storm with blizzard conditions and 10 to 14 inches of snow expected, according to the National Weather Service.

A potential problem with this storm is wind gusts. Late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning may see winds gusting to 50 mph, which could lead to power outages from downed poles and tree limbs on wires.

High temperatures are not expected to get out of the teens this week in the Boston area, while any Gulf Stream temperature benefit to the Cape and Islands likely will be wiped out by wind chill.
