Halloween Weekend Round Up for the Young at Heart
A quick run-down of some great events leading up to the big night on Monday.
On Friday Night, the Capawock Theatre in Vineyard Haven will be showing two Halloween flicks to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School: 7 pm: "Young Frankenstein." 9:15 pm: "Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Also on Friday, the YMCA is hosting a Halloween Dance Party and Costume Contest on from 6:30 to 11pm. Rig-up a costume and come out for an evening of dancing and fun! $5
The folks at Fielder & Fielder in Chilmark invite you to come by for cider, cookies and Halloween candy. Trick or Treaters in costume will receive a free Turkish Blue Bead, a charm used to ward off the evil eye, perfect for Halloween! Friday-Sunday, Oct. 28-30, 10 am-5 pm and 4 pm – 9 pm on Halloween.

Oak Bluffs Public Library will start celebrating at 10:30 on Saturday, October 29th with crafts, music, games, and a costume contest with prizes. Refreshments will be served. All ages. No sign-up needed.
The West Tisbury Public Library is hosting Saturday Crafts: Decorate a Trick or Treat Bag on Saturday, October 29th, from 11am to 3pm, with Martha Hubbell. Make something unique and festive to take Trick or Treating on Halloween evening!
