Five Things You Need To Know: November 26

Today take part in knitting at the Tisbury Senior Center, a classic movie showing at the Chilmark Library, and a community supper at the Old Whaling Church.

 

1. Tonight there is a Community Supper in Edgartown at the Old Whaling Church in the Baylies Room. Bring the family and enjoy delicious food and community. Offering encouraged but not mandatory. Salad, bread, soup, a main entree, dessert & beverage. Free-will offering. Call (508)693-4424 for more information.

2. The Chilmark Library will be showing the movie 'Lifeboat' at 7:00 pm, the movie shows the struggle of several survivors of a torpedoed ship who find themselves in the same boat with one of the men who sunk their boat. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Free admission. Popcorn provided. Presented by the West Tisbury Library.

3. The Tisbury School is hosting their annual Library Book Fair today from 2:45 pm – 4:00 pm at the Tisbury School Library in Vineyard Haven. Free. Call (508)696-6527 for more information.

4. 'Open Mic Mondays' is happening tonight at The Pit Stop in Oak Bluffs starting at 8:00 pm. Hosted by Anthony Esposito. A resident event on Mondays at The Pit Stop. $5; Free for members. Call (508)693-4219 for more information.

5. The weekly knitting group takes place today at the Tisbury Senior Center from 9:00 am - 11:00 am in Vineyard Haven. All are welcome, stop in for knitting and community gathering. Free. Call (508)696-4205 for more information.
