The Sausage Festival is today and tonight at the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society in Vineyard Haven.

- Watch out for whales: NOAA is asking mariners to slow down and avoid eight endangered right whales seen swimming off the Vineyard and Nantucket.
- Learn to make sausages, sample the results and take some home at the Sausage Workshop, 10 a.m., Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society, 35 Panhandle Rd, Vineyard Haven, $45 includes half-price admission to the evening's Meat Ball, all part of the Sausage Festival.
- Up-Island: Story Hour and Art, 11 a.m., Aquinnah Public Library, 1 Church Street, Aquinnah, free.
- Chappy: Table Tennis, 11 a.m., Chappaquiddick Community Center, Chappaquiddick, free.
- Improvisation: , 7 p.m., Pathways at The Chilmark Tavern, 9 State Rd, Chilmark, free.
