"Bird News" Returns to WCAI

Hear and talk about birds of the Cape and Islands on the first Saturday of the month with hosts Mindy Todd and Vern Laux.

Whether you're a full-fledged bird nerd or just a fan of wildlife on and near Martha's Vineyard, the monthly "Bird News" call-in program on WCAI returns Saturday morning on 90.1 FM.

As described on the program's Facebook page, 

Bird News airs the first Saturday of each month from 11 to noon with hosts Mindy Todd and Vernon Laux.

Mindy is an award winning veteran broadcaster with over 30 years experience in radio and television and amateur birder. 

Vern Laux is a bird expert, butterfly enthusiast, international bird tour leader, educator, radio commentator, columnist and author who also happens to love to fish.

Now based in Nantucket, Laux formerly wrote the Bird News column for the Vineyard Gazette.
