Airlines Canceling Flights in Advance of Storm

The majority of flights planned for tonight from Logan Airport have already been cancelled.

Nearly 200 flights that were scheduled to arrive or depart from Logan Airport on Tuesday have already been cancelled as of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday as the airlines deal with another major snowstorm.

Seventy-nine departing flights from Logan have already been cancelled, including half of the flights scheduled between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to FlightStats.

The numbers are even worse for departing flights. The majority of arriving flights planned for tonight have already been cancelled.

JetBlue Airways, which needed to cancel hundreds of flights during a snowstorm earlier this month, has already cancelled 25 departing flights from Logan and 43 arriving flights on Tuesday.
