5 Things Tuesday: "The Vineyard" TV Show Debuts
We're about to find out what "The Vineyard" really looks like: The sometimes-controversial, unscripted "docu-soap" that was filming on the Island in May and June makes its television debut Tuesday night.

- Dine and donate during the MV Center for Living Benefit at Flatbread Company in Edgartown, Tuesday from 3 to 11 p.m. "Help the Center for Living get a little closer to our dream of a permanent home for the senior day care Supportive Day Program. There will also be a silent auction with many great items," posts Ginger Martin Duarte.
- Two Island arts powerhouses join forces for the Pathways & Featherstone Summer Festival of Poetry at Featherstone Center for the Arts in Oak Bluffs: $20, doors open at 6 for refreshments, poets begin reading at 7 p.m.
- Jeremy D'Entremont speaks on The Lighthouses of New England and the People who Kept Them, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Vineyard Haven Public Library, 200 Main St., VH.
- Tuesday Night Fever: The Middle School Dance Party at Alex's Place at the YMCA of MV kicks off at 8 p.m. for all kids in grades 6, 7 and 8.
