Oak Bluffs Public Library closed at 1 pm due to excessive heat

The Oak Bluffs Public Library closed at 1 pm today, Thursday, July 18 due to an air conditioning malfunction. The Library Friends Annual Book Sale will continue as scheduled through 7 pm tonight in the Meeting Room. The Meeting Room air conditioner is functioning and the room is very cool. Customers can shop in comfort.
The library staff is very sorry for the inconvenience. It is our pleasure to serve the public. We hope to open tomorrow, Friday, July 19, at 10 am.
