Contemplative Advent Services:

The First Congregational Church of West Tisbury will offer three contemplative Advent services on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The dates and themes are as follows: December 4 (Longing and Preparing); December 11 (Waiting and Hoping); and December 18 (Healing and Transforming). Please join us as we embrace the darkness and move into the light of Christmas. These services will be simpler and shorter than our Sunday services, with extra time for silence, prayer, and ritual. They will offer a place for the complexity of emotions people feel during the holidays.
