1. Little Yogis at the Oak Bluffs Library: Beginning Dec. 5th at 4 p.m., and running for 8 weekly sessions on Thursdays (except Dec. 26), the Oak Bluffs Public Library will host 'Little Yogis," a yoga instruction program for children ages 4 to 6. There are eight spots available per class and pre-registration is required. Please call 508-693-9433, x.141.

2. More fun for families: Thursday programs at the Martha's Vineyard Community Services Family Center include Gym Time, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Club and Baby's First Year, 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Family Center.

3. Affordable locally-made gifts: Open daily from noon to 4 p.m., the 11th annual Holiday Gift Show at the Featherstone Center for the Arts has a wide variety of gifts made by Martha's Vineyard artists and priced from $5 to $50: See "Island-Made Holiday Gift Show Offers Affordable Treasures" for details.

4. Rides to Cape doctors, hospitals: Are you an Islander 55 or older who needs to get to medical appointments on Cape Cod? Pay what you can to use the Medical Taxi Program: suggested donations are $15-50 depending on distance traveled. Find out more: mvcenter4living.org/offislandmedicaltaxi.html

One more thing for today: At noon, the Vineyard Transit Authority is holding a public hearing on its proposed multi-year bus fare increases. It's at the VTA headquarters, 11 A St., Edgartown.
