Two-For-One Soups in Menemsha

Five things to do on the Vineyard this Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2013.

1. Tuesday's special at Menemsha Fish Market is all soups two for one. (Tip: Try mixing the clam chowder and the lobster bisque together.) The market at 54 Basin Rd. in Chilmark is usually open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number's 508-645-2282.

2. Tuesday, The Oak Bluffs Public Library offers a free basic Intro to Computers course, covering everything from powering up to mouse skills and basic computer functions. No pre-registration is necessary for the one-hour class which meets at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

3. Tuesday at 3 p.m., it's  Bridge Lessons for Teens, Part 2 at Alex's Place at the Y. Free, first come first served.

4. Parents interested in a tuition-free alternative to the Island's traditional public schools are invited to a Charter School Open House Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Martha's Vineyard Public Charter School, 424 State Road in West Tisbury.

5. The Chilmark Community Church holds a Soup Supper starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
