New Playground, Triathlon Results, Thrift Shop Specials, 'The Vineyard' Finale

1. There's a new place for kids to play in Vineyard Haven's Veterans Park: The town of Tisbury finished work Monday on a brand-new play structure. Read about it here.
2. The Tuesday special at Chicken Alley Thrift Shop in Vineyard Haven is 50 percent off books, movies, CDs, games and puzzles.
3. The Vineyard Haven Public Library invites us to a 7 p.m. talk with Sally Bennett Segall, whose new book "Immigrant: A Memoir Across the Atlantic," tells an intriguing story of post World War I Europe, love affairs, World War II, more love affairs, spies, and her final immigration to the United States. Free.
4. The season finale of "The Vineyard" — likely the last episode ever, if the show is not renewed — airs at 10 p.m. on ABC Family.
5. The Vineyard Warrior triathlon results have been posted at vineyardwarrior.com.
