'This Is Our Island,' Flood Map Changes, Meditation and More

1. Martha's Vineyard Insurance Presents a Flood Insurance and Mapping Changes Seminar to go over changes in the FEMA flood maps. Wednesday, 6 p.m., Harbor View Hotel, Edgartown: Free, but space is limited. RSVP Sarah shughes@mvinsurance.com or Jim  jgeary@mvinsurance.com
2. "Meditation and the Art of Happiness" is a class at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., according to the Martha's Vineyard Times.
3. Travel back in time to see Martha's Vineyard as it was more than 40 years ago in the documentary "This Is Our Island," showing at 7:30 p.m. at the Martha's Vineyard Film Center in Vineyard Haven. $15, $12 MV Film Society members.
