Let's Eat, Play, Read, Dance and Plan

Five fun things to do on the Island this Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014.

1. Have you tried the new soups and salads at Tisberry in Vineyard Haven? The organic greens and gourmet soups, including vegan selections, are well worth trying for eat-in or take-out. 2. Tuesday at 3 p.m., all teens are welcome to an introductory lesson on the game of Bridge at Alex's Place at the Y. Free.

3. The 2014 Poetry at Pathways series begins Tuesday with an open Poetry Jam with doors opening at 6 p.m. at the Chilmark Tavern. All poets and writers are invited to participate by reading new works, or to relax and enjoy the readings which start at 7 p.m. Free to all ages.

4. The Belly Dance Workshop for Fun and Fitness begins its 5-week session at Workout/Vineyard Tennis Club. Class runs Tuesdays, 7-8 p.m. through February 11. 5. Mass Audubon Felix Neck posts on Facebook: "Felix Neck’s Fern and Feather Day Camp Registration is open!
