Five fun things to do and know on the Vineyard this Friday, Jan. 10, 2013.

2. Playing Friday at the Martha's Vineyard Film Center: "Nebraska" at 4 p.m. and "Inside Llewyn Davis" at 7:30 p.m.

3. Friday night, Alex's Place at the Y hosts a Middle School Dance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. All kids in grades 6, 7, 8 are welcome: $5.
