Nelia Decker moved from Santa Barbara, CA in 1978 to work at The Book Den East in Oak Bluffs. Today she works full-time as the Children's Librarian at the West Tisbury Free Public Library. Children from all over the Island know and trust Nelia and take her opinions and recommendations very seriously. Islander Lucas Amarins will be back at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School in the fall, but this summer he's working at Menemsha Blues in Vineyard Haven. Jon Han spends a good part of his day waiting in his taxi at the Steamship Authority in Vineyard Haven for people to getting off the boat who need a ride to their desitination. Jonathan Castro is originally from Minas, Brazil. He came to the United States 10 years ago to be closer to his parents. Jasmine Reed has been living on Martha's Vineyard her whole life. She's beenworking at Stop & Shop in Vineyard Haven for the past seven years. As the first supermarket you see when you get off the ferry, the Vineyard Haven Stop & Shop is especially busy in the summer.
