Jon Han spends a good part of his day waiting in his taxi at the Steamship Authority in Vineyard Haven for people to getting off the boat who need a ride to their desitination. Han, who will be a senior at Purdue University this year, has been working for Atlantic this summer and so far really likes his job.

Q. What company do you work for?

A. Atlantic cab. I've been doing that for about two months. 

Q. Are you from the Island?

A. No I'm from Michigan.

Q. What made you come here from Michigan?

A. I heard about it from friends. Word of mouth. 

Q. What do you like most about working for Atlantic Cab?

A. I like the people I'm surrounded by. You know, the guys I work for and the guys I work with. It's pretty easy going, pretty laid back. 

Q. What do you like most about living on Martha's Vineyard for the summer?

A. Everything. The Island itself. The beaches, the trails they have. Just being out by the water all the time. 

Q. Are you in school right now?

A. Yes. I am currently a student at Purdue University. Going to be a senior. 

Q. What is your dream job?

A. I don't know. I guess an entertainer.
