Today from 11:30 a.m.-9 a.m., Offshore Ale Company will host a drive to collect new toys, books, hats and gloves for adults and children in need and displaced this holiday season. The company is working in conjunction with The Red Stocking Fund of Grace Church in Vineyard Haven. 

The Red Stocking Fund distributes food vouchers for Thanksgiving and again in March, however the big push comes in December with toy and winter clothing drives. Dating back to 1938, when Mrs. Harris M. Crist asked her friends to fill six red stockings with gifts for needy children, the Red Stocking Fun was born. Today, more than 300 children from close 175 families receive food and gifts through the Red Stocking Fund, and the list grows every year.

Offshore Ale is taking the drive one step further and adding a bit of fun. Donate a new book, toy, gift, hats or gloves and and draw from the "Give Back Sack." The "Give Back Sack" has vouchers to win 50% to 100% of your donation toward dining at Offshore Ale. It's a win-win for all.
